How do I talk with booth visitors about Give2Lead?

Lately I’ve had some potential customers tell me that they like the idea of Give2Lead, but they don’t know how to use it when they talk to potential customers who come up to their booth.

Our recommendation is to start the conversation as you normally would.  Asking them what they do and what their challenges are.  Then you can share what you do and how you may be able to help them.  As you wrap up the conversation, here are a few examples of how to close out and make sure you capture their contact information:

Version 1

“Shannon – it’s been great getting to know you. I’d love to keep this conversation going.  If you can share your contact information with me through this QR code,  I’ll follow up with you.  Additionally, for sharing your information,  we will be giving back to non-profits with our marketing budget, instead of giving you swag that you probably don’t need.”

Version 2

“Vincent, it’s been fantastic chatting with you! I’d love to stay in touch. Could you share your contact information through this QR code? By doing so, we’ll be able to keep in touch and also contribute to non-profits through our Give2Lead initiative, rather than handing out swag. It’s a win-win!”

Version 3

“Scott, it’s great to meet you. If you’re interested in continuing our conversation, please share your contact details via this QR code. We’re using Give2Lead to capture leads this year, which allows us to donate to non-profits instead of giving away promotional items. Thank you for helping us make a difference!”

Version 4

“Hey Valerie, I’ve really enjoyed our conversation and would love to follow up. Could you please use this QR code to share your contact information with me? We’re using Give2Lead for lead capture, which means your information will help us support non-profits rather than giving out unnecessary swag.”

Version 5

“Stephanie, what a pleasure speaking with you! Let’s continue the conversation—just scan this QR code to share your contact info. We’re partnering with Give2Lead to donate to non-profits instead of providing swag. Your participation will help us make a positive impact.”
